Business Analyst I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Conduct analyses and interpretations to connect business needs and objectives for the designated function.

• Assist in realizing value, governance, and business initiatives through analysis, reporting, and support for strategic initiatives.

• Execute data analysis, identify barriers to implementation, monitor initiatives, perform governance tasks, and carry out user acceptance testing for new systems.

• Analyze and identify user requirements, procedures, and business challenges to enhance existing processes and facilitate value realization.

• Carry out in-depth analyses on assigned projects and suggest potential business solutions.

• Aid in the implementation and assessment of business impacts and outcomes.

• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.

• Adhere to all policies and standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

• 0–2 years of experience in business process analysis or data analysis.

• Project management experience is preferred.

• Strong preference for experience with Excel, reporting tools, stakeholder coordination, and business process improvement activities.

• Finance background is strongly preferred, particularly with plan run rate, forecasting, HBR (Health Benefit Ratio), and value/cost modeling.

• Preference for experience using Planview or similar portfolio/project management tools for tracking initiatives, governance, reporting, or managing action items.

• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills are preferred.

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
