This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.
• Analyze, evaluate, and document finance-related business processes, including Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), General Ledger (GL), Subledger Accounting (SLA), Tax, and Audit.
• Assess intricate business processes and effectively decompose them into subprocesses to communicate solutions to both business and technical teams.
• Leverage best practices to facilitate organizational change through the re-design of business processes.
• Understand, confirm, and document business requirements, differentiate between needs and wants, and identify gaps between out-of-the-box solutions and customizations.
• Assist businesses in enhancing processes and software through data analysis.
• Design and implement Oracle solutions to support financial reporting, invoicing, tax compliance (Vertex), and electronic billing (Billtrust).
• Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to ensure Oracle configurations align with both business and regulatory requirements.
• Aid in internal audit and JSOX compliance by maintaining accurate documentation and system controls.
• Lead workshops to collect financial requirements and translate them into Oracle specifications.
• Develop and execute test plans for financial modules to ensure data integrity and process accuracy.
• Manage financial enhancement projects utilizing ServiceNow ITBM.
• Provide training and support to finance users regarding Oracle functionality.
• Maintain documentation for financial processes to facilitate audits and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Over 7 years of experience as an Oracle Business Analyst (R12), with substantial exposure to finance modules.
• Proven track record in analyzing financial processes, configuring Oracle applications, and preparing compliance documentation, with a demonstrated ability to evaluate complex business operations and deliver effective Oracle-driven solutions.
• In-depth understanding of financial controls, audit requirements, and tax systems.
• Capability to develop business cases and ROI analyses for enhancements in financial systems.
• Experience in business process modeling, requirements analysis, and implementation methodologies.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow ITBM and SDLC methodologies.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and achieve results in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable working in a global, cross-functional setting.
• Results-driven, persistent, and highly organized problem solver.
• Availability to work primarily East Coast hours (8 AM - 5 PM).
• Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally (up to 25%).
