Business Analyst – Demand Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the intake requests across various record systems (SharePoint, ServiceNow SIM) from the start to completion, ensuring data integrity and consistent use of tools.

• Serve as a meticulous liaison to aid in defining the scope of demand and manage interactions with clients and service owners.

• Keep planning logs, demand requirements documentation, action item tracking, and approval records up to date.

• Recognize potential risks, devise mitigation strategies, and escalate issues to Demand Managers as per established protocols.

• Coordinate weekly demand review meetings and assist with operational tasks, including cost center establishment and tool transitions (e.g., from SharePoint to ServiceNow SIM).

• Back automation efforts and participate in annual planning cycles as the demand management function evolves.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–4+ years of experience in a Business Analyst, operations coordinator, or demand/project support position.

• Practical experience with ServiceNow (preferably the SIM module) and SharePoint.

• Excellent documentation abilities — capable of creating clear requirements documents, action logs, and status reports.

• Background in facilitating regular stakeholder meetings and handling follow-ups effectively.

• Comfortable functioning within a structured, governance-oriented service delivery environment.

• Proficient in English (both written and spoken); strong communication skills with technical and business audiences.

• Familiarity with demand management, IT portfolio management, or ITSM environments (preferred).

• Experience in supporting managed services engagements or working within a large enterprise (experience in financial services or insurance is advantageous).

• Knowledge of process improvement or automation initiatives (preferred).

• CBAP, PMI-PBA, or similar BA certification (preferred).
