Business Analyst, Data & AI Practice

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams.

• Collaborate directly with clients to comprehend business objectives, operational models, processes, challenges, and areas for improvement.

• Identify opportunities where data, analytics, automation, and artificial intelligence can deliver tangible business value.

• Convert opportunities into actionable requirements for solution architects, engineers, and developers.

• Facilitate workshops, interviews, and discovery sessions with executive, operational, and technical stakeholders.

• Document existing processes, workflows, systems, and decision-making activities.

• Analyze operations to uncover inefficiencies, bottlenecks, risks, and potential improvement areas.

• Create process maps, workflow diagrams, user journeys, and business capability models.

• Assess and prioritize opportunities in AI, data, automation, analytics, predictive modeling, and intelligent document processing.

• Measure potential reductions in costs, productivity enhancements, revenue growth, risk mitigation, and improvements in customer experience.

• Collect, document, and validate business, functional, and non-functional requirements.

• Develop user stories, use cases, acceptance criteria, and process documentation.

• Coordinate stakeholder review and approval processes.

• Establish trusted advisor relationships and present findings, recommendations, and business cases to leadership.

• Articulate AI capabilities, limitations, risks, and implementation considerations to clients.

• Collaborate with Solution Architects and AI Engineers to ensure alignment of requirements with technical solutions.

• Assist development teams during solution design and implementation phases.

• Engage in testing, validation, and user acceptance activities.

• Support change management, adoption planning, and business readiness initiatives.

• Contribute to discovery engagements, opportunity identification, business value creation, client satisfaction, documentation quality, solution adoption, and pipeline growth.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Operations Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• 3–7 years of experience in a role such as Business Analyst, Process Analyst, Management Consultant, or a similar position.

• Proven experience in conducting stakeholder interviews and analyzing business processes.

• Proficient in documenting requirements, workflows, and business processes.

• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

• Capability to facilitate workshops and lead discovery sessions.

• Experience collaborating with cross-functional business and technical teams.

• Preferred: Background in Data & Analytics initiatives.

• Preferred: Experience in AI, Generative AI, Machine Learning, or Intelligent Automation projects.

• Preferred: Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or Value Stream Mapping methodologies.

• Preferred: Familiarity with platforms such as Microsoft Fabric, Azure AI, Power BI, Copilot, Azure OpenAI, or similar technologies.

• Preferred: Experience in developing business cases and ROI models.
