• Develop statistical segmentation models for customers to help identify warning signs and unusual operations related to LAFT.
• Methodically build and implement analytical models to optimize processes using relational and non-relational databases.
• Propose and articulate the implementation of comprehensive monitoring and follow-up strategies for customer operations to mitigate LAFT risks in line with new products and services.
• Design, implement, and monitor descriptive and predictive indicators to evaluate the effectiveness and maturity of risk management systems.
• Support the consolidation, validation, and timely submission of information and periodic reports required by the Superintendencia Financiera de Colombia, ensuring the integrity, quality, and accuracy of reported data.
• Collaborate closely with various domains within the organization to identify opportunities for data analysis application and provide evidence-based solutions.
• Define and calculate business metrics associated with Compliance and LAFT risk management.
• Work with cross-functional teams, including product managers, marketing, and operations, to align LAFT risk management strategies with different products and services.
• Generate data-driven insights to define and adjust strategies aimed at risk management.
• Develop and maintain regular and ad-hoc reports that provide visibility into key areas.
• Collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure relevant data for the digital account product is collected, processed, and analyzed appropriately.
• Ensure that data handling and analysis comply with data privacy regulations and internal compliance policies.
• Professional degree in industrial engineering, economics, mathematics, statistics, or related fields.
• Over 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Data Scientist, or Data Analyst.
• Advanced and proven knowledge of SQL.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Python.
• Understanding of statistical concepts to interpret data and identify patterns.
• Experience in analyzing transactions and customer behavior in financial entities or fintech companies.
• In-depth knowledge of statistical methods and machine learning, and their application to complex business problems involving classification, regression, clustering, among others.
• Experience using big data tools (Spark, Hadoop, etc.).
• Experience with AWS ML suite tools, including the implementation and management of automated and scalable solutions like AWS Canvas AutoML and AWS Sagemaker.
• Desirable knowledge of AWS consultation, advanced analytics, and visualization services (Redshift, Athena, Quicksight, Metabase, Sagemaker).
• Ability to facilitate the understanding of technical concepts to non-technical audiences and promote a data-driven culture.
• Capacity to work in multidisciplinary teams and adapt to changing environments.
• Effective communication skills to present findings and insights to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving and identification skills, with the ability to propose solutions and make data-driven recommendations.
