This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.
• Take ownership of and oversee the entire renewal lifecycle for a selection of legal software products, such as Legal Tracker, HighQ, Exterro, OpenText, and Document Intelligence.
• Create and present precise, competitive pricing proposals for renewals.
• Proactively manage the customer notification process to guarantee timely communication regarding upcoming renewals.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Account Management, Account Specialists, and Customer Success Managers, anticipating potential issues before they occur.
• Identify and convey renewal risks and opportunities to internal stakeholders promptly.
• Act as the subject matter expert on legal software contracts and pricing, providing invaluable expertise as a trusted member of the account team during every renewal interaction.
• Serve as the main point of contact for customers concerning all contractual and pricing inquiries related to renewals.
• Lead and manage renewal negotiations by employing established playbook strategies while crafting innovative, ad-hoc solutions for complex or escalated scenarios.
• Continuously enhance and refine processes and tools to scale the renewal function and promote increased efficiency.
• 3–5 years of experience in renewals, sales operations, contract management, or business analyst roles, ideally within a SaaS or legal technology setting.
• Familiarity with legal software platforms or enterprise software contracts is highly advantageous.
• Experience utilizing CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and contract management systems.
• Strong analytical abilities, with the capability to build and interpret pricing models and renewal data.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills — comfortable engaging with customers and internal stakeholders at every level.
• A proactive, solutions-oriented approach with a strong sense of ownership.
• Capability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
