Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Engage with the business regarding financial instruments and their management processes workflow.

• Interact with stakeholders including users, sponsors, project teams, or the development team;

• Collaborate with the Product Owner and the team to refine epics and user stories;

• Ensure that solutions align with business needs and requirements;

• Draft and update documentation in Confluence, and prepare as well as deliver presentations on new features;

• Assist in defining data mappings between various systems;

• Provide support for System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) through process and data analysis;

• Aid in the analysis of functional bugs in the production project;

• Operate within an Agile environment, continuously assessing business needs, refining priorities, outlining milestones and deliverables, and identifying opportunities and risks.

• Create and implement the product roadmap.

• Convert features from the product roadmap into clearly defined product requirements including features, user stories, and acceptance test criteria.

• Assist the Product Owner in prioritizing and maintaining the Sprint backlog for assigned products, balancing stakeholder requirements.

• Support the team and the product.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in similar roles and technologies.

• Proficient knowledge of financial instruments.

• Strong organizational, effective communication, and time management skills.

• Required English proficiency: C1.

• Experience working in Agile Teams, utilizing Agile methodologies (SCRUM) and tools such as JIRA and Confluence.

• Familiarity with Camunda 8 or another BPMN process orchestrator.

• Experience with ElasticSearch and Kibana.

• Proficient in json and xml data analysis.

• Experience in defining Acceptance Criteria.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Spanish language skills are a plus.
