This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.
• Creates business analysis documentation (user stories, use cases, business models, needs and features, etc.) to articulate both “as-is” and “to-be” requirements in a clear and presentable manner.
• Gathers, analyzes, and validates the business needs of stakeholders, customers, and end users.
• Collaborates with technical teams to convert functional specifications into technology solutions.
• Ensures that the solution (people, process, and technology) aligns with business capabilities, product, or system objectives.
• Identifies and communicates potential risks and issues to the Product Owner and Scrum Master that may necessitate changes to the project scope.
• Works alongside the project manager to develop a project Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and project timeline.
• Assists in project management tasks such as tracking execution progress, monitoring delivery schedules, and highlighting risks to maintain adherence to timelines.
• Engages in System and User Acceptance Testing to confirm that defined requirements and business solutions have been successfully implemented.
• Facilitates Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Guides prioritization discussions with development teams, translating organizational priorities into actionable work sequences.
• Ensures compliance with company Agile standards and best practices.
• Adapts business requirements tools to fit the size and complexity of various projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, business administration, finance, or a related field is preferred.
• 5 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience that is adequate to fulfill the essential job functions.
• Familiarity with Farm Credit systems and/or banking is desirable.
• Preferred experience with system integrations and file-based data movement (e.g., SFTP, MoveIt, or similar file transfer/ETL processes).
• Working knowledge of SQL for data analysis and validation of requirements is preferred.
• Proficient in business analytics methodologies and frameworks (Agile, Waterfall, etc.).
• Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation, and communication skills to identify and document needs and features, lead prioritization discussions, and create detailed requirements.
