This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Lead organized virtual sessions to gather requirements from client stakeholders across various levels.
• Elicit, document, and validate business requirements utilizing established BA methodologies such as interviews, workshops, observation, surveys, and document analysis.
• Create formal BA deliverables, including Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Specifications, Use Cases, User Stories with acceptance criteria, process flow diagrams, and data mapping documents.
• Perform current-state (as-is) and future-state (to-be) process analysis; identify gaps and propose solutions within the product framework.
• Oversee UAT planning and execution: develop test scenarios, monitor defects, and confirm that delivered solutions meet documented requirements.
• Manage the scope throughout the engagement; proactively identify and escalate scope creep with documented impact assessments.
• Act as the primary liaison for clients during assigned project phases, facilitating communication with stakeholders and internal delivery teams.
• Present findings, recommendations, and solution designs to client audiences with clarity and professionalism.
• Triage and respond to support tickets from existing clients; accurately determine whether issues are related to configuration, training, or product defects.
• Document ticket resolutions and contribute to the internal knowledge base to minimize recurring support challenges.
• Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience as a Business Analyst in a software product or SaaS setting.
• Proven proficiency in formal requirements elicitation techniques (interviews, JAD sessions, prototyping, surveys, observation).
• Expert-level ability to create BRDs, Functional Specifications, Use Cases, User Stories, and acceptance criteria that are clear, comprehensive, unambiguous, and independently verifiable.
• Experience in gap analysis, root-cause analysis, and options analysis.
• Strong understanding of the SDLC and experience working within both Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and waterfall delivery methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to lead UAT: write test scenarios, coordinate testing cycles, monitor defects, and secure sign-off.
• Experience in data analysis and requirements related to integrations, data migration, or reporting.
• CBAP, PMI-PBA, or equivalent BA certification.
• Experience as a BA in a billable professional services or consulting delivery model.
• Familiarity with support ticketing platforms (e.g., TeamSupport, Jira Service Management, Salesforce Service Cloud).
• Project management experience or PMP certification.
• Exposure to software configuration or business rules management within a product platform.
• Experience with SQL or basic data querying for requirements validation.
• 100% remote work.

• Occasional travel to client sites or company events may be required (less than 10%).
• Availability during core business hours required; occasional flexibility needed.
