Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with the PDL and Scrum Master to develop and manage the sprint backlog for both the development and design teams.

• Take responsibility for finalizing and maintaining documentation of requirements, including UI specifications, Confluence wiki pages, and Jira tickets.

• Serve as a liaison among the PDL, engineering, QA, UX/design, and the Scrum Master to ensure alignment on scope and delivery.

• Guarantee requirements traceability from epic through to acceptance and delivery.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, or in a similar role within a software product team.

• Proficient in writing detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and requirements documentation.

• Knowledgeable about agile (Scrum/Kanban) development methodologies.

• Skilled in using Jira and Confluence for backlog management and documentation purposes.

• Experience with mobile applications (iOS/Android) is highly advantageous.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills — capable of converting business needs into clear technical requirements.

• Strong organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail; capable of managing multiple tickets and workstreams simultaneously.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and swiftly adapt to shifting priorities.

• Self-motivated individual who takes initiative and completes tasks independently without close supervision.

• Experience in the convenience retail, fuel, or loyalty/rewards platforms sector is beneficial.

• Familiar with middleware or API-based integrations.

• Experience in supporting UX/design processes or leading design review meetings.

• Background in QA or experience in writing test cases and supporting UAT.
