Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Mindera is seeking a proactive **Business Analyst** to integrate with a team at a prominent UK retailer and take ownership of the details.

• This role is focused on delivery, emphasizing **process mapping, requirements gathering, prioritization, and gap analysis**.

• The Business Analyst will collaborate with business, product, and engineering teams, documenting current operations,

• identifying gaps, and transforming that information into clear, prioritized requirements that teams can utilize to build upon.

• The ideal candidate is motivated, comfortable taking the lead in discussions, and equally adept at dissecting complex process flows as they are at challenging senior stakeholders on priorities.

• Expected travel time, both nationally and internationally, varies based on project/client and organizational needs: estimated at 0%-15%.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a **Business Analyst** with a solid history in **process mapping and requirements analysis** (not a product manager profile).

• Truly comfortable delving into the **lower level details** of processes: documenting, modeling, and stress testing how operations function.

• Confident in **facilitating workshops** and steering outcomes with diverse groups of varying seniority, including senior stakeholders.

• Strong **stakeholder management** skills: capable of challenging, aligning, and prioritizing across business, product, and engineering.

• Proficient in process modeling and BA tools (for instance, BPMN process flows, requirements documentation, user stories, and acceptance criteria).

• Self-motivated and **driven**, possessing the energy to lead discussions rather than waiting to be assigned tasks.

• **Flexibility to travel** to various client locations and attend periodic Mindera team gatherings.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience in **retail** or other large, complex enterprise environments.

• Familiarity with working alongside **engineering teams** in an agile delivery environment.

• Experience bridging legacy and modern systems where process discrepancies often arise.
