This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Lead the process of gathering, validating, and documenting requirements for intricate initiatives.
• Transform business needs into clear, actionable requirements and functional solutions.
• Assist in IT intake processes and engage in solution design and implementation.
• Ensure that delivered solutions align with business objectives.
• Foster strong relationships across Operations, IT, Finance, Sales, and Marketing.
• Serve as a liaison between cross-functional teams to enhance communication and alignment.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to comprehend business challenges and pinpoint improvement opportunities.
• Aid in data gathering and analysis to support decision-making and project initiatives.
• Create business cases with robust ROI justification in partnership with Finance.
• Assist in prioritizing initiatives based on their business value and impact.
• Promote a client-focused approach to solution design and decision-making.
• Identify opportunities to enhance and streamline operational processes.
• Persuade stakeholders to adopt efficient and effective practices.
• Advocate for a strong emphasis on improving client and user experience.
• Contribute to initiatives aimed at continuous improvement and innovation.
• Coordinate and manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT) cycles.
• Develop and implement test cases for projects and system releases.
• Oversee defect tracking, prioritization, and resolution efforts.
• Assist in training, implementation, and business readiness activities.
• Education: Required - College diploma; Preferred - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Finance, or a related field.
• Work Experience: 3-5 years of pertinent experience in business analysis, operations, or project environments.
• Proven experience in cross-functional initiatives and complex projects.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx).
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, ALM, and low-code/automation platforms is advantageous.
• Knowledge of AI, cloud-based systems, and SaaS solutions.
• Other Qualifications: Experience in developing business cases and conducting ROI analysis.
• Background in insurance or financial services is a plus.
• Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies is beneficial.
• Language Skills: Fully bilingual (French/English); proficiency in English is essential.
