Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Arab Emirates (UAE).

📋 Description

• Oversee the market entry analysis by establishing "need to believe" criteria and identifying deal-breakers for the UAE market.

• Primarily perform secondary research (with scalable options for primary outreach) to evaluate the mid-market gap and margin feasibility between IKEA and luxury segments.

• Create and rigorously test a comprehensive financial forecast and capital requirement estimation to confirm the ~$500K initial entry investment.

• Design a dynamic cash-flow management tool for the General Partner to facilitate daily operations over a rolling 12–18 month period.

• Consolidate complex data into a board-ready proposal and collaborate directly with the CEO and senior advisors.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in a Top-tier Management Consulting firm (ex-MBB) or Investment Banking.

• Demonstrated ability to conduct market-entry/growth analyses and evaluate regional market potential.

• Outstanding financial modeling and FP&A skills, with a knack for creating operational finance tools from the ground up.

• Strong familiarity with the GCC market, particularly within the UAE/Dubai area.

• Executive presence with proven comfort in advising and presenting to C-suite executives and board members.

• Experience in sectors such as furnishings, interiors, textiles, or retail is highly desirable.
