This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• The Business Analyst reports to the Manager of Business Analysis and plays a crucial role in analyzing and implementing business initiatives that enhance both daily operations and the strategic goals of Doctors of BC.
• Collaborating closely with various teams within the organization, the Business Analyst engages with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, analyze processes and systems, assess solution alternatives, and create documentation that fosters operational efficiency and ongoing improvement.
• As a vital contributor to project execution, the Business Analyst works with stakeholders to evaluate business needs, pinpoint opportunities for enhancement, and assist in designing practical solutions that align with the organizational objectives.
• This role encompasses full project support, including requirements gathering, process analysis, solution assessment, testing coordination, implementation assistance, and activities related to change adoption.
• The Business Analyst aids in ensuring that systems, processes, and workflows develop in a structured, consistent, and integrated fashion throughout the organization.
• A university degree in business, computer science, or a related field, and/or a Business Analysis certification with a minimum of 5 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with proven proficiency in interpreting and translating specific business requirements into effective data management and reporting solutions.
• Exceptional attention to detail with demonstrated skills in document management, particularly in digital formats.
• Outstanding organizational and planning skills, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong command of the English language.
• Proven experience in preparing reports and delivering presentations.
• Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated experience in managing customer relationships across various stakeholder groups, understanding business priorities, and identifying project requirements.
• Knowledge of change management principles for implementing effective business solutions and systems.
• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with professionalism and diplomacy.
• Ability to effectively engage with individuals at all organizational levels, from entry-level staff to senior management.
• Self-driven and capable of working independently.
