This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Slovakia.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to comprehend business objectives, processes, and requirements.
• Conduct interviews, workshops, and analysis sessions to gather and document user stories, use cases, and both functional and non-functional requirements.
• Capture Business Requirements, Business Cases, and Functional Specifications while creating and elaborating user stories.
• Promote awareness of requirements across various business units and identify standardized systems processes through the evaluation of real-time data.
• Determine and develop user requirements for systems in production, ensuring optimal usability.
• Work alongside stakeholders across business units (e.g., sales, finance, security, compliance) to collaboratively develop analyses and documentation, communicating effectively and efficiently with production, managerial, and executive teams.
• Continuously evaluate, analyze, and communicate systems requirements while maintaining systems processes, including delivering monthly status reports to all relevant parties.
• Maintain relationships with partners to optimize systems integration and address questions and concerns from managers and executives, providing supporting research and recommendations.
• Create detailed and clear documentation such as business requirements documents (BRD), functional requirements documents (FRD), and use case specifications.
• Develop process models, workflow diagrams, and prototypes to illustrate proposed solutions.
• Collaborate closely with IT Architects, technical teams, and vendors to design feasible solutions that meet business needs.
• Evaluate existing Convatec systems and suggest improvements or new solutions to optimize processes.
• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring effective communication and understanding of requirements.
• Work in conjunction with project managers, developers, and testers to guarantee successful project delivery.
• Serve as a thought leader for technical business processes, developing systems prototypes that enhance efficiency and productivity across multiple levels.
• Conduct thorough quality assurance evaluations and communications at every stage of systems development.
• Assist in test planning and support technical teams in creating test cases that validate implemented solutions against requirements.
• Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) to confirm that solutions meet business expectations.
• Support the transition of new solutions and the associated documentation to our Operations Teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience as an IT Business Analyst or in a comparable role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to translate business needs into technical requirements.
• Proficient in requirement gathering techniques, process modeling, and documentation tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Visio, prototypes/wireframes, and user journey flows).
• Excellent communication skills to engage with diverse stakeholders and convey technical information clearly.
• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or other project management methodologies.
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and its phases.
• Experience in the Medical Device Technology/Health Care field is highly desirable.
• Background in data analysis, SQL, or business intelligence tools.
• Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP) or other relevant professional certifications.
• Experience in domains particularly valued within the Medical Devices/Pharmaceutical Industry.
