Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Collaborate as part of a team to enhance the client's current systems into a unified solution by integrating a centralized database system.

• Remove duplicate and redundant data systems to improve the tracking, regulation of licensing, compliance, and laboratory activities.

• Streamline services for consumers and support more robust reporting, including real-time tracking of applicants, licensees, and compliance performance metrics.

• Evaluate and document existing business processes by utilizing experience with BPI methodologies.

• Perform data and process analysis to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.

• Develop, propose, and implement process improvement strategies to optimize performance, including Business Process and Workflow diagrams.

• Identify data-driven insights to evaluate the effectiveness of process changes and promote sustainable improvements.

• Provide guidance and training to employees regarding process modifications.

• Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency within the client organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must have at least five (5) years of experience applying analytical processes on IT projects within the last ten (10) years.

• At least three (3) years of experience applying analytical processes on IT projects must have been in business systems analysis and design within the last ten (10) years.

• A Bachelor’s Degree is required.

• Must have five (5) years of experience supporting organizational change related to IT system implementations within the last ten (10) years.

• A current Prosci Organizational Change Management Certification is required.

• Must have a minimum of one (1) year of experience with the Accela Civic Platform or Accela licensing and enforcement modules within the last ten (10) years.

• Background in business process mapping, future-state design, and stakeholder engagement within the last ten (10) years.

• Experience working with licensing, enforcement, compliance, or regulatory staff within the last ten (10) years.

• Ability to translate technical changes into operational impacts for end users within the last ten (10) years.
