This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Assist Product Development Managers in establishing the minimum viable product (MVP) for a specific application or product, along with the accompanying release plans.
• Perform requirement discovery, data modeling, process improvement analysis, process design, and model BPM applications, as well as user interface design and data interface requirement discovery.
• Organize discovery workshops with customer stakeholders to gather and document solution requirements.
• Collaborate with Product Development Managers and technology stakeholders (e.g., Systems Architects) to outline new and enhanced product requirements and functionalities.
• Provide and maintain user engagement analytics to characterize users (i.e., sectors, demographics, needs, requirements, etc.) and support case studies and other anecdotal information.
• Write user stories by breaking down large problems into smaller, valuable stories for users, including detailed acceptance criteria that developers and QA can utilize to complete their tasks.
• Continuously engage with teams to offer answers, feedback, and direction on work items, enablers, and user stories.
• Seek guidance and clarity from Product Development Managers regarding the product vision, roadmap, and requirements.
• Collaborate with the team to establish the sprint plan based on the priorities set within the overall product vision and roadmap.
• Refine product requirements based on feedback gathered through user engagements, sprint showcases, and demonstrations.
• Work with the team to prepare estimates for the user stories within the product backlog.
• Conduct formal reviews and accept user stories implemented by the team.
• Identify, track, and manage risks, escalating when necessary.
• Recognize process improvement opportunities and suggest solutions.
• Design and implement complex data models according to customer application requirements.
• Utilize tools such as TFS, Jira, and GitHub for various project management responsibilities.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Over 5 years of experience in business analysis and refining requirements for information systems.
• Excellent communication skills at all organizational levels (both written and verbal).
• Detail-oriented with experience managing multiple products simultaneously.
• Familiarity with common process-based documentation methods, including use cases, Agile user stories, and process modeling.
• Ability to obtain and maintain necessary federal government security clearance if required.
• US citizenship is mandatory for clearance purposes.
