
Building Automation Systems Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Oversee all facets of Routine Projects
• Assess and review subcontractor proposals, providing recommendations for contract awards
• Organize pre-construction activities such as project initiation, kickoff, contract, and subcontract evaluations and setups
• Manage construction activities including MOPs, RFIs, and submittals
• Assist in resource and material forecasting
• Create, manage, and track project schedules
• Engage in, organize, and lead project meetings (both internal and external)
• Coordinate or execute QA/QC plans and specifications to ensure completion aligns with the project scope and relevant guidelines and manuals
• Prepare, project, and monitor budgets, profitability, margins, billing rates, and utilization while maintaining overall responsibility for the project's profitability
• Cultivate client relationships to maintain a positive ongoing interaction and collaborate with clients to identify and develop new projects
• Bachelor's degree (B.A. / B.S.) or equivalent experience in the construction field OR two additional years of experience in a related area in place of a degree
• At least five years of experience in building automation systems/controls, with a minimum of two years in a project management capacity
• Familiarity with project management software, including MS Project and Procore
• Understanding of open-source protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, and SNMP
• Proficient in using the MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams), along with outstanding organizational skills for file management
• Capability to utilize AI and emerging technologies to enhance workflows, optimize operational processes, and contribute to company-wide innovation
• Strong communication skills in both oral and written forms (technical and non-technical information)
