Build Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Lead the planning, execution, and expansion of infrastructure on AWS Cloud, with a focus on comprehensive management of S3 buckets and structuring permissions.

• Collaborate closely with architects and engineers to design network architectures, systems, and storage solutions.

• Oversee a continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) methodology for server-based technologies, diligently tracking and resolving issues on GitHub.

• Ensure the maintenance of an operational security environment with controls aimed at mitigating both insider and external threats.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical AWS experience encompassing the deployment and upkeep of cloud infrastructure, alongside managing S3 buckets, permissions, and secure storage processes.

• Solid understanding of cloud networking, which includes configuring F5 VIPs, load balancing, and managing firewall change requests.

• Proven experience in supporting CI/CD pipelines for server-based technologies, with proficiency in troubleshooting, tracking, and resolving issues through GitHub or comparable version-control systems.

• Established background operating in a security-controlled environment, applying robust security measures.

• Excellent problem-solving capabilities with a knack for assessing environmental needs and converting them into stable, secure technical solutions.

• Must possess an active Top Secret clearance.
