This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Taking charge of the daily brokerage operations for OnePay Invest and Crypto, ensuring precise, timely, and compliant execution throughout the entire trade and asset lifecycle.
• Overseeing brokerage operations in the role of a designated principal (Series 24), ensuring compliance with SEC/FINRA regulations, WSPs, and internal controls.
• Acting as the main escalation point based in the US, leading the resolution of trade discrepancies, incidents, and real-time operational challenges.
• Collaborating closely with the India-based Brokerage Operations Lead to maintain continuous operational coverage, share oversight of daily activities, and guarantee consistency across regions.
• Managing core brokerage functions, which include trade corrections, settlements, reconciliations, money transfers, and ACATS transfers.
• Supervising corporate actions and asset servicing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in handling dividends, splits, and other trade-related events.
• Monitoring the health and performance of operations, including exception queues, customer support volumes, and proactively addressing potential risks.
• Serving as the primary contact with our clearing broker-dealer and crypto partners, ensuring smooth execution, issue resolution, and continuous improvement.
• Developing error management frameworks and collaborating with Product and Engineering teams on workflow automation; enhancing processes using AI tools such as Claude, Gemini, and others with unlimited tokens.
• Over 7 years of experience in brokerage or trading operations (fintech or broker-dealer preferred).
• Active FINRA licenses: Series 7, 63, and 24 (mandatory).
• Proven experience as a supervisory principal with direct responsibility for brokerage operations.
• Familiarity with operating in a follow-the-sun or global operations model, with shared accountability across regions.
• Experience in constructing processes and automations utilizing AI tools.
• Extensive knowledge of:
• Demonstrated ability to manage daily operations in a high-volume, real-time environment.
• Experience in handling incidents, escalations, and customer-impacting issues.
• Strong systems thinker with a history of developing scalable processes and tools.
• Capability to function as a hands-on leader and operator.
• Excellent skills in cross-functional collaboration across Product, Engineering, Compliance, and Customer Experience.
