Brokerage Accounting Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take responsibility for brokerage accounting operations within designated markets.

• Conduct audits of brokerage transactions and commission calculations to ensure precision.

• Evaluate referrals, co-broker agreements, silent overrides, and unique commission structures.

• Oversee post-close adjustments, clawbacks, commission modifications, and payment irregularities.

• Supervise automated workflows for Total Brokerage to Ramp payments and investigate any discrepancies.

• Collaborate with Operations and market leadership to address transaction-related issues.

• Assist in the month-end closing process and ensure audit preparedness.

• Record ongoing exceptions and pinpoint opportunities for automation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

• Preferred background in real estate brokerage accounting.

• Proven experience in resolving accounting discrepancies.

• Familiarity with Total Brokerage, Ramp, NetSuite, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft 365.
