Brewery Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Promote the complete product range of the Boston Beer Company (BBC).

• Maintain a dedicated focus on selling products and/or enhancing the number of product lines in retail accounts, including bars, restaurants, liquor stores, grocery stores, and convenience stores.

• Identify key accounts that are not currently offering BBC products and develop a strategy to establish business relationships with them.

• Enhance account conditions and merchandise visibility by creating displays, reorganizing coolers, and showcasing point-of-sale materials to boost brand visibility.

• Collaborate with distributors to ensure that orders are placed, products are delivered, and business continues to grow within those accounts.

• Conduct educational sessions for waitstaff and bartenders, arrange beer tastings, and facilitate evening promotions.

• Be prepared for varying working conditions on a daily basis due to the customer-facing nature of the role.

• There may be occasional requirements to work weekends and holidays to accommodate business needs.

• Some travel may be necessary for meetings and training sessions.

• Regular travel within the market to service both retailers and wholesalers is expected.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of proven, results-driven experience in outside sales or within the food and beverage sector.

• A strong competitive drive paired with an assertive and confident demeanor.

• Possession of a valid driver's license, an insured and registered vehicle, and the capability to travel to and from accounts consistently.

• Ability to frequently lift and transport cases of beer.

• Capability to climb, kneel, and stoop regularly to arrange and display point-of-sale items.

• A bachelor's degree is preferred.
