This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• This role is tasked with overseeing brand management and formulating marketing strategies, as well as the ongoing administration of a portfolio of product brands.
• The scope of this position includes the development of global corporate brands, which encompasses brand development, brand statements, brand positioning, the introduction of new brands, and the exploration of potential brand acquisitions.
• The position works in close collaboration with the Henry Schein Brand Product Management, Product Content, and Commercial Teams to support the broader business unit in achieving specified market share objectives and annual sales and gross profit targets on a country-by-country basis.
• Additionally, this role is accountable for sub-brand strategies, packaging standards and guidelines, and establishing competitive benchmark brands to guide pricing and promotional activities.
• Clearly define the positioning of both existing and new brands to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the brand value proposition, positioning relative to benchmark competitive brands, and design elements.
• Work alongside business unit leadership to champion and protect these brands, ensuring a consistent global brand image with a clear value proposition for customers and internal sales, marketing, and merchandising teams.
• Develop product positioning and assist in the product launch strategy based on forecast metrics.
• Create and implement an annual marketing strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Oversee and monitor the annual marketing budget.
• Define and manage the in-market portfolio strategy, which includes phasing out low-performing SKUs and identifying gaps and opportunities.
• Generally requires 8 or more years of progressively responsible and complex professional experience.
• Preferred knowledge of the healthcare or dental market.
• Advanced brand management expertise with a proven track record in creating, launching, and managing successful global product brands.
• Ability to understand, interpret, and act upon financial information and data that influences business outcomes and profitability.
• Strong research capabilities with the ability to develop, execute, and analyze voice of customer research for brand and product insights.
• Experience in content development, business process planning, and marketplace assessment.
• Requires creativity, conceptual thinking, project management, and collaboration skills in a matrixed environment.
• Proficiency in planning and managing successful projects; understanding available resources, developing timelines, budgets, and assigning tasks and responsibilities.
• Exceptional planning and organizational skills and techniques.
• Capability to lead virtual teams.
