This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by engaging with borrowers to help them comprehend loan programs, associated costs, and relevant loan documentation.
• Examine and audit income, assets, run DU, and verify credit documentation within the mortgage file to ensure the stability of the loan.
• Review mortgage loan disclosure packages and provide them to borrowers, which includes but is not limited to rate disclosure and re-disclosure packages.
• Assist in managing a pipeline that includes Conventional, FHA, VA, and USDA loans, as well as 203k, Jumbo, and reverse mortgage products.
• Ensure that the loan structure offers the optimal program based on the borrower’s financial situation.
• Check the file for any missing documentation that would best support loan approval.
• Communicate loan programs and associated costs with borrowers (License required for this responsibility).
• Pre-underwrite items to facilitate loan approval (paystubs, credit reports, W2s, bank statements, court orders, etc.).
• Input data for disclosures, present information, and configure the loan to best suit the borrower’s requirements.
• Bachelor's degree and/or a comparable combination of education and experience.
• 3-5 years of experience in residential mortgage processing.
• Familiarity with Encompass LOS is preferred.
• Previous underwriting or processing experience is an advantage.
• Understanding of RESPA guidelines and all mortgage and consumer regulations.
• Proficient in DU, LP, Microsoft Outlook, and Windows.
• Strong math and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication abilities.
• Outstanding prioritization and time management skills to meet deadlines.
