Branch Operations Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.

📋 Description

• Act as the intermediary between the organization’s internal teams and external clients.

• Supervise and actively participate in the entire loan process from beginning to end.

• Support Loan Officers and Loan Processors in obtaining information regarding loan eligibility and lending standards.

• Examine and evaluate intricate income documentation, including both personal and business tax returns.

• Provide calculations necessary for qualification purposes.

• Aid in the training of sales or processing personnel.

• Interact with borrowers to help them comprehend loan programs, associated costs, and various relevant loan documents.

• Review mortgage loan disclosure packages and ensure they are delivered to the borrower.

• Confirm that the loan structure offers the most suitable program based on the borrower’s financial situation.

• Check the files for any missing documentation that would support approval.

• Communicate loan programs and their costs to borrowers.

• Pre-underwrite items to bolster the approval of the loan.

• Input data for disclosures, presenting and arranging the loan to best accommodate the borrower’s needs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• 3-5 years of experience in residential mortgage processing.

• Familiarity with Encompass LOS is preferred.

• Previous underwriting experience is an advantage.

• Understanding of RESPA guidelines and all mortgage and consumer regulations.

• Strong math and analytical skills.

• Exceptional communication abilities.

• Excellent prioritization and time management skills to meet deadlines.

• Proficient in DU, LP, Microsoft Outlook, and Windows.
