• Leverage AWS services to create cloud-based solutions.
• Execute API integrations and oversee data management flows.
• Perform testing and debugging on BOT functionalities.
• Expertise in the AWS Platform.
• Knowledge at the AWS Solutions Architect level (minimum Associate; preferred Professional).
• Familiarity with core compute/storage services: EC2, Lambda, S3, ECS/EKS (if containerized workloads are relevant).
• Networking skills: VPC design, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, Site-to-Site VPN, security groups/NACLs, Route 53.
• Experience with streaming/data services: Kinesis Data Streams, Kinesis Firehose (for call/event data pipelines from Genesys).
• Proficiency in API Gateway (both REST and/or WebSocket APIs), including throttling, usage plans, and request/response transformations.
• Capable of designing IAM policies (roles, resource-based policies, cross-account access) directly relevant to the deny-policy issue encountered.
• Knowledge in certificate management: ACM (AWS Certificate Manager), mutual TLS (mTLS) configuration for API Gateway and Lambda, private CA if necessary.
• Experience with CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and X-Ray for observability and troubleshooting of distributed integrations.
• Proficient in Infrastructure as Code: CloudFormation or Terraform (with Terraform increasingly becoming the industry standard for multi-account AWS environments).
• Strong programming/development skills in Python — working with Lambda functions, data transformation, and API clients/servers.
• Skills in JavaScript/Node.js — for Lambda functions and potentially frontend/widget integrations with custom UI components.
• Understanding of RESTful API design and consumption (experience with OpenAPI/Swagger specifications is a plus).
• Background in SOAP/XML integration — interpreting WSDL, XML parsing, and transformation.
• Familiarity with API authentication patterns: OAuth 2.0, API keys, mTLS client certificates.
• Experience in designing and building middleware/integration layers between SaaS platforms and internal enterprise systems.
• Knowledge of event-driven architecture patterns, queues, and event buses — relevant experience with SQS/SNS/EventBridge.
• Capability to translate between REST and SOAP paradigms.
• Understanding of API gateway patterns for integrating legacy systems.
• Proficiency in data transformation/mapping between different schemas (contact center data models compared to internal system data models).
• Competitive salary and performance bonuses.
• Comprehensive health and wellness benefits.
• Opportunities for professional development and training.
• Flexible work hours and remote work options.
• Collaborative and innovative work environment.
