This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Serve as the internal Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the US MGA & Program business by deepening your understanding of products and associated data, and determining data interpretation for downstream onboarding, which includes validating data accuracy and quality.

• Collaborate with business and technology teams to enhance and refine existing data standards for the MGA & Program business, maintaining data dictionaries and templates.

• Partner closely with Program Managers to negotiate and collect necessary policy, premium, claims, and risk exposure data from Brokers, MGAs, Coverholders, or TPAs, while escalating issues to internal teams as needed.

• Oversee the complete data onboarding process for the Bordereaux Management System (BMS), which entails:

• Analyzing and mapping data to ensure accuracy and completeness, checking for duplicate entries, missing information, or incorrect figures.

• Collaborating with data engineering teams to integrate data into our Bordereaux Management System (BMS).

• Conducting acceptance testing on loaded data to verify it reconciles with source files and adheres to established mapping and validation rules.

• Monitoring and resolving data quality issues to ensure compliance with agreed-upon standards and timelines, whether through internal resolution or partner engagement for corrections.

• Work with our internal Business Intelligence (BI) team and key business stakeholders to generate insights, analytics, and reports to:

• Identify trends, potential risks, and areas for improvement regarding the overall performance of a portfolio.

• Ensure that Brokers, MGAs, Coverholders, or TPAs comply with the terms and conditions of the Program Management Agreements (PMA) and Binding Authority Agreements.

• Address the needs of regulators, reinsurers, market bodies, and internal compliance teams, including ISO/ISS, Lloyds, and premium tax.

• Implement continuous improvement processes to enhance efficiency, minimize errors, and improve oversight & decision-making.

• Establish and uphold best practices for master and reference data management, data mapping, data modeling, and data integration concerning the Bordereaux Management System (BMS).

• Ensure that process and training documentation related to Bordereaux Management Procedures remains current.

• Stay informed about market standards (such as ACORD and Lloyds), as well as changes to bordereaux data and processing requirements.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

• Over 10 years of experience in data analysis and data management.

• More than 5 years of experience in the (Re)insurance industry, encompassing US Property & Casualty, International Markets, and Life, Accident & Health segments.

• Proficient in using the latest business intelligence and query tools, particularly Power BI, SQL, and Spark.

• Strong comprehension of data modeling and processing frameworks such as SSIS, Python, and Databricks.

• Exceptional documentation skills in data analysis and management.

• Outstanding organizational, written, verbal, and presentation abilities.

• Strong critical thinking and analytical skills, especially in data management.

• Capacity to work independently with minimal oversight.

• Proven leadership skills that promote collaboration and drive solutions within a data team.

• Ability to prioritize tasks, multi-task, and adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• Demonstrated effectiveness in influencing and working within a global organization across all employee levels.

• Motivated, team-oriented, and equipped with strong problem-solving and project management skills.
