This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Lead and oversee a team of bookkeepers, offering daily guidance, coaching, and managing performance.
• Evaluate monthly reports, including the Income Statement and Balance Sheet, to ensure all bookkeeping processes are finalized, and execute month-end adjustments for accuracy.
• Ensure the timely and precise completion of monthly bookkeeping close processes across a client portfolio.
• Analyze operational dashboards and reporting tools to monitor progress, identify outstanding items, and facilitate the resolution of overdue tasks.
• Uphold consistency and quality in team outputs by implementing processes, SOPs, and internal controls.
• Act as the primary point of escalation for bookkeepers, addressing complex accounting inquiries, workflow obstacles, and client concerns.
• Maintain well-organized and accurate document records for each client.
• Recognize opportunities to optimize bookkeeping processes, enhance efficiency, and strengthen internal controls.
• Assist in training and coaching the bookkeeping team as new features and tools are integrated into the company's bookkeeping software.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles, including at least 2 years in a management position.
• Solid understanding of bookkeeping principles, such as reconciliations, month-end closing, and financial statements.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining financial records.
• Outstanding organizational and time management abilities, with a talent for prioritizing tasks effectively.
• Proven capability to meet deadlines and manage high-volume recurring workflows.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of professional interaction with both colleagues and bookkeeping clients.
• Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively within a team setting.
• Dedication to preserving confidentiality and integrity while handling sensitive financial information.
• Familiarity with common bookkeeping software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and a willingness to learn the company's proprietary bookkeeping software.
