This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Assists the Finance department by ensuring precise payroll administration.
• Prepares payroll inputs according to established payroll cycles and deadlines.
• Verifies timesheets, payroll codes, hours worked, classifications, and related payroll data prior to submission for review.
• Manages payroll administration tasks such as entering leave, making adjustments, preparing payroll files, and uploading to the payroll system.
• Conducts weekly reconciliations for bank accounts and other balance sheet accounts as assigned.
• Keeps accurate and up-to-date records in Xero, following CSA’s chart of accounts and reconciliation framework.
• Provides additional support for finance administration tasks when necessary.
• Aids the Claims Assurance and Receivables function by preparing Xero-based reports and data extracts.
• Maintains organized and well-documented records for payroll, reconciliations, and finance support activities.
• Demonstrated experience in bookkeeping and payroll administration (minimum of 2+ years preferred).
• Experience with small to mid-sized enterprises.
• Solid understanding of Australian payroll processes and compliance (e.g., superannuation, tax obligations).
• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, or similar).
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
• Capable of working independently and effectively managing deadlines.
• Experience in the healthcare or aged care sector (preferred but not mandatory).
• Flexible remote position as an independent contractor.
• Disclosure of any existing ongoing roles or client engagements is required.
• Provision of technology and backup support is expected.
• Must have reliable internet access.
