This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• **Key Responsibilities:**
• - Maintain precise financial records while ensuring adherence to accounting standards and regulations.
• - Oversee all facets of bookkeeping, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
• - Prepare and assess financial statements, reports, and budgets.
• - Assist the Finance Manager in achieving month-end deliverables and reports.
• - Monitor and manage costs, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency enhancement.
• - Reconcile bank statements to ensure the accuracy of financial transactions.
• - Input data into Xero on a daily basis.
• - Process accounts payable, payroll, and handle expense reports.
• - Support in the preparation of tax returns and guarantee timely filing.
• - Collaborate with the finance team to formulate and execute financial policies and procedures.
• - Provide financial support and advice to other departments as required.
• - Utilize Xero accounting software for all financial tasks and reporting purposes.
• - Communicate effectively with clients and team members in both French and English.
• **Qualifications:**
• - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• - Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent certification is preferred.
• - Demonstrated experience as an accountant/bookkeeper with an emphasis on cost control.
• - Proficiency in Xero accounting software is required.
• - Fluency in both French and English, in written and spoken forms.
• - Strong understanding of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
• - Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• - Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
• - Strong organizational and time management skills.
• - Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• - Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
