Bookkeeper – QuickBooks Online

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Oversee bookkeeping functions in QuickBooks Online (QBO), encompassing Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, bank reconciliations, and ensuring precise financial record-keeping.

• Accurately process vendor invoices in a timely manner.

• Monitor purchases of raw materials and custom-ordered items related to client projects.

• Keep organized vendor records along with supporting documentation.

• Manage customer invoices generated through Jobber.

• Apply incoming customer payments and keep track of outstanding balances.

• Aid in collections and follow up on overdue invoices as necessary.

• Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly bank and credit card reconciliations.

• Promptly investigate and resolve discrepancies.

• Maintain precise and audit-ready financial records.

• Record and classify financial transactions within QuickBooks Online.

• Ensure accurate general ledger records and maintain tax-ready books.

• Assist with tracking inventory-related expenses and bookkeeping tasks.

• Update and maintain operational trackers and supporting documentation utilizing Google Sheets.

• Collaborate with internal team members to ensure financial records are consistent with daily business operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of practical bookkeeping experience utilizing QuickBooks Online.

• Extensive experience with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, bank reconciliations, and general bookkeeping tasks.

• Advanced skills in QuickBooks Online.

• Strong familiarity with Google Sheets.

• Experience with Jobber is beneficial but not mandatory.

• Comprehensive understanding of bookkeeping principles, including AP, AR, account reconciliations, and general ledger management.

• Prior experience supporting North American home service or contractor businesses is highly desirable.
