This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Accurately classify transactions, reconcile accounts, and maintain organized ledgers.
• Carefully identify and address discrepancies with meticulous attention to detail.
• Perform monthly financial assessments to ensure that every client's records are precise and current.
• Act as the primary point of contact for your clients—small business owners who depend on your expertise.
• Provide compassionate, professional, and clear communication through chat, email, and phone.
• Foster strong relationships by articulating financial information in a manner that clients can easily comprehend.
• Proactively take the initiative to identify and resolve client issues.
• Manage the client experience from beginning to end, ensuring satisfaction and building trust.
• Collaborate with internal teams utilizing tools such as Bench App, Salesforce, and Slack.
• Active QuickBooks Online Certification is mandatory.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in bookkeeping, auditing, or tax preparation.
• At least 1 year of customer-facing or client service experience—preferably supporting U.S.-based clients.
• Exceptional spoken and written English proficiency (clear, confident, and professional communication is essential).
• Strong customer service orientation with the capability to explain financial concepts clearly and compassionately.
• Practical experience with QuickBooks Online.
• High attention to detail, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a proactive mindset.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Must meet Bench’s minimum hardware and internet requirements for effective communication and workflow.
