Bookkeeper – Financial Operations Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Ensure accurate and current bookkeeping records are maintained throughout the month.

• Conduct monthly reconciliations of bank, credit card, and financial accounts.

• Prepare and sustain Profit & Loss statements, Balance Sheets, and cash flow reports.

• Oversee Accounts Receivable and monitor outstanding payments from customers.

• Follow up on overdue invoices and manage customer account balances.

• Process vendor bills and handle Accounts Payable operations.

• Schedule and execute vendor payments while keeping track of due dates.

• Monitor cash position, recurring obligations, loan payments, and credit card balances.

• Identify and communicate potential cash flow or liquidity issues proactively.

• Process customer orders and ensure accurate recording of payments.

• Execute outgoing payments while maintaining transaction accuracy.

• Handle payroll for a small team.

• Assist with ACH setup, vendor maintenance, banking administration, and financial documentation requests.


⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated bookkeeping or accounting experience in a small business setting.

• Strong grasp of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes.

• Experience in preparing financial reports and conducting reconciliations.

• Excellent cash flow monitoring and financial organization abilities.

• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.

• Capability to work independently and effectively manage priorities.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to proactively raise concerns.

• Comfortable working across various sales and payment channels.

• Experience in e-commerce, wholesale, or multi-channel businesses is advantageous.
