This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Execute daily bookkeeping and data entry activities using Xero.
• Process client invoices via Dext (Receipt Bank) and integrate them into Xero.
• Prepare aged payables, process batch payments, and create bank ABA files.
• Oversee unreconciled bank transactions and manage general ledger entries.
• Generate client sales invoices as per instructions.
• Administer payroll, maintain employee records, and fulfill employer superannuation responsibilities.
• Submit payroll information to the ATO in compliance with Single Touch Payroll regulations.
• Manage debtor accounts, including sending reminders and issuing statements.
• Create manual journals, financial reports, and management reports through Xero.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and prepare month-end journal entries.
• Prepare and file IAS and BAS reports.
• Collaborate with integrated third-party applications and assist with additional data entry tasks as required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related fields.
• 2–3 years of pertinent accounting experience.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Australian bookkeeping.
• Proficient in Xero, Dext (Receipt Bank), and Deputy.
• Strong grasp of bookkeeping practices, journal entries, general ledger management, and financial statement preparation.
• Exceptional attention to detail and precision.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Skilled in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office software.
• Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization abilities.
