This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nicaragua.
• Gather and arrange credit card receipts along with supporting documents from employees and various departments.
• Assess and allocate expenses to the correct departments, programs, or accounts.
• Conduct routine bank reconciliations and investigate any discrepancies as required.
• Accurately and promptly input vendor bills and expenses into QuickBooks.
• Aid in the preparation, verification, and issuance of customer invoices.
• Keep precise and organized digital financial records and documentation.
• Assist the Finance team with general bookkeeping and administrative responsibilities.
• Ensure all financial information is processed in compliance with company policies and deadlines.
• Manage sensitive and confidential financial data with professionalism and discretion.
• Support special financial projects, audits, and departmental initiatives as necessary.
• Carry out additional tasks based on business requirements.
• Demonstrated experience as a Bookkeeper, Accounting Clerk, or a similar role in accounting support.
• Practical experience with QuickBooks.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
• Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Capability to handle confidential financial information with care.
• Dependable high-speed internet connection.
• Reliable computer equipment equipped with microphone and video capabilities.
• A quiet and professional remote work environment with minimal disruptions.
• Competitive salary based on experience: $14,400 – $18,000 per year, depending on expertise.
