This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Conduct investigations into automobile accidents that involve either single or multiple vehicles, specifically focusing on instances of property damage and/or bodily injury that may include attorneys or litigation.
• Evaluate coverage, liability, and damages associated with claims.
• Deliver exceptional customer service through various communication channels including voice calls, email, and text messaging.
• Utilize innovative platforms and tools to facilitate fair and prompt injury settlements.
• Manage a substantial caseload of pending claims.
• Investigate casualty claims through comprehensive damage assessments and policy interpretation.
• Interact with customers via phone, email, and video conferencing.
• Review and negotiate settlements with customers, vendors, third-party carriers, and claimants.
• Implement legal and industry-standard methodologies for claim handling.
• Employ estimate tools, job aids, and settlement platforms effectively.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of claims within the claims system.
• Safeguard the financial interests of the company by adhering to policy agreements during execution.
• Prior experience in handling represented third-party casualty claims is required.
• Experience in claims from Ohio or Connecticut is highly preferred.
• Preferred experience of 2–5 years in managing moderate to complex bodily injury claims.
• Strong communication skills, particularly over the phone.
• Capability to work independently and remotely while effectively managing time.
• Understanding of insurance policies, coverage, liability assessment, and state regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with tools and platforms used for claims evaluation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is a plus.
• Candidates must reside in the Eastern or Central Time Zones.
• May need to obtain an adjuster and/or appraiser license within 60 days of hiring.
• Must undergo a background investigation.
• Reliable internet connection with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload is required.
• A dedicated, private workspace that is free from distractions, equipped with suitable desk and seating is necessary.
• This position is not available to residents of California, Washington, Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico.
