This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York, +2 more states.
β’ Conduct investigations and verify facts related to complex automobile accidents.
β’ Assess coverage, liability, and damages involved.
β’ Adjust and negotiate claims within established authority limits.
β’ Oversee bodily injury claims that require extended handling, ranging from soft tissue injuries to claims of moderate severity.
β’ Utilize an advanced understanding of insurance policies and organizational dynamics.
β’ Exercise discretion and independence while managing complex auto claims.
β’ Review, assess, and negotiate claims related to basic to moderate injuries.
β’ Identify vehicle body components and assess potential property damage.
β’ Recognize and address customer needs utilizing effective customer service skills.
β’ Evaluate the potential for subrogation or fraud and determine the appropriate handling procedures.
β’ Gain experience through Adjuster II-level responsibilities or rotations into specialized roles.
β’ Provide support for claims across the Northeastern states.
β’ No supervisory responsibilities are required.
β’ Experience in managing bodily injury claims.
β’ Proficient in interpreting policy language and identifying coverage issues.
β’ Advanced knowledge of insurance policies.
β’ Capability to investigate complex automobile claims, including aspects of coverage, liability, and damages.
β’ Proficient in reviewing, evaluating, and negotiating basic to moderate injury claims.
β’ Strong customer service skills.
β’ Familiarity with vehicle body parts and potential property damage.
β’ Ability to assess subrogation or fraud potential.
β’ An active adjuster's license is preferred.
β’ Candidates must reside in states within the eastern or central time zones.
β’ Must have authorization to work in the United States.
β’ Individuals with an active insurance license must cancel existing appointments prior to onboarding and may not maintain outside appointments during employment.
β’ Applicants holding a resident producer license must relinquish it when directed by the licensing team.
β’ A dedicated, distraction-free workspace is required when working remotely.
β’ Reliable internet connection with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload is essential.
