Blue Team Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Lead the team in the monitoring, detection, and response to security incidents.

• Inspire, mentor, and develop team members while promoting a collaborative and continuous learning culture.

• Oversee operations in SIEM tools such as Rapid7/InsightIDR, QRadar, FortiSIEM, and Microsoft Sentinel, in addition to security solutions like EDR, SOAR, Firewalls, and IDS/IPS.

• Define and assess playbooks, policies, and performance metrics to ensure ongoing process enhancements.

• Provide direct support for critical investigations, performing technical analyses and making strategic decisions in conjunction with the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in Blue Team operations, with over 6 years of technical expertise.

• Proven experience in managing SOC or operations teams.

• Deep understanding of security architecture, incident response, threat hunting, and automation of security processes.

• Familiarity with ticketing and workflow solutions, such as Remedy.

• Relevant certifications including ITIL, ISO27001, CEH, BTL1, and CompTIA Security+.

• Strong leadership and communication abilities in multidisciplinary environments.

• Strategic thinker with a results-driven approach.

• Proactive, collaborative, and dedicated to continuous improvement.
