This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.
• Assist in the research and analysis of emerging blockchain technologies, which include consensus mechanisms, on-chain transaction models, and the distinctions among various blockchain architectures (e.g., EVM vs non-EVM).
• Contribute to the examination of real-world Web3 security incidents under supervision and aid in brainstorming proof-of-concept solutions.
• Keep abreast of blockchain security news and report on emerging risks, vulnerabilities, or innovative attack vectors.
• Engage in internal discussions, team reviews, and threat modeling activities.
• Aid in documenting findings, drafting basic research summaries, and contributing to internal knowledge repositories.
• A strong interest in blockchain, smart contracts, cybersecurity, or DeFi—enthusiasm and curiosity are essential.
• A solid foundation in computer science or a related technical field (students in CS, EE, math, etc. are encouraged to apply).
• Familiarity with at least one programming language (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Solidity, or Rust is advantageous).
• A basic understanding of blockchain concepts such as transactions, wallets, or smart contracts (coursework, personal projects, or self-study are acceptable).
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a willingness to engage with technical details.
• Proficiency in English is essential for coordinating with overseas partners and stakeholders; additional languages are a plus.
• Bonus: involvement in personal Web3 projects, CTF participation, GitHub contributions, blog writing, or any self-directed security research.
