Blockchain Risk Control Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Austria.

📋 Description

• Design and implement advanced on-chain risk identification and threat intelligence systems utilizing LLM techniques.

• Create autonomous agent workflows for ongoing monitoring, self-initiated investigations, and automated operational responses throughout the risk lifecycle.

• Spearhead forensic investigations into cases of cryptocurrency theft, fraud, and market manipulation.

• Incorporate AI-driven pattern recognition to expedite root cause analysis.

• Investigate post-quantum cryptographic algorithms and evaluate their effects on blockchain security.

• Analyze quantum computing threats to ECDSA secp256k1 and hash functions while exploring potential migration strategies.

• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners on incident response initiatives.

• Work with academic institutions to convert cutting-edge research into practical security tools.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Master's or PhD degree in Blockchain Security, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related discipline.

• Proficiency in programming languages commonly utilized in blockchain analytics, such as SQL, Python, and JavaScript.

• Experience in applying machine learning or AI methodologies to blockchain data analysis, fraud detection, or threat intelligence.

• A strong publication record in esteemed industry or academic conferences is highly regarded.

• Familiarity with blockchain monitoring/forensic tools and analytics platforms.

• Knowledge of NIST PQC standards (ML-KEM, ML-DSA, SLH-DSA, FALCON) and fundamentals of lattice/hash-based cryptography is advantageous.

• Understanding of quantum computing threats to elliptic curve cryptography and their implications for key management in Web3.

• Experience in security or risk control is a plus.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Proficiency in English is essential.

• Knowledge of Mandarin can be an advantage.
