This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
β’ Deliver resident components of the Career School Seminar Blended Seminar Program (CSC BSP) and/or the Expeditionary Warfare School Blended Seminar Program (EWS BSP) in alignment with Marine Corps University curriculum and academic standards.
β’ Facilitate blended learning seminars that combine online coursework with instructor-led discussions, case studies, and practical exercises.
β’ Support Government-mandated seminar schedules, including: Career School Seminar (CSC BSP): Up to two concurrent seminars conducted biannually. Expeditionary Warfare School (EWS BSP): Up to four concurrent seminars conducted biannually.
β’ Promote professional dialogue, critical thinking, and the application of Marine Corps doctrine and leadership principles.
β’ Assess student engagement and academic performance in accordance with MCU policies.
β’ Maintain precise student records and submit necessary documentation.
β’ Collaborate with Regional Campus staff and CDET leadership regarding seminar schedules and instructional needs.
β’ Ensure that instruction adheres to the current Marine Corps University curriculum and faculty guidelines.
β’ Travel to Marine Corps installations, including but not limited to: Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni, Japan; Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, California; Marine Corps Base Camp Blaz, Guam; and other Government-directed locations as necessary.
β’ Meet the Marine Corps University faculty qualification criteria for the designated seminar program (Career School Seminar or Expeditionary Warfare School).
β’ Possess professional military education credentials relevant to the course being taught.
β’ Proven experience in facilitating adult education, military instruction, or Professional Military Education.
β’ Exceptional communication, presentation, and classroom facilitation capabilities.
β’ Active Secret (Tier 3) Security Clearance.
β’ Willingness and ability to travel on short notice, including internationally.
β’ Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution (Preferred).
β’ Prior teaching experience at Marine Corps University, Command and Staff College, Expeditionary Warfare School, or other military educational institutions (Preferred).
β’ Experience in delivering blended learning or distance education courses (Preferred).
β’ Familiarity with MarineNet or other Learning Management Systems (Preferred).
β’ Previous Mobile Training Team (MTT) or distributed learning instructional experience (Preferred).
β’ Extensive travel based on Government requirements.
β’ Opportunity to travel within CONUS and OCONUS, including Japan and Guam.
β’ Valid U.S. passport or the ability to obtain one.
