Blade Data Capture Specialist I – Internal Inspections, Wind Turbine

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oklahoma, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Execute operations adhering to a high standard of safety, in line with industry best practices.

• Carry out data collection, initially focusing on internal inspections of wind turbine blades, with potential expansion to other types of inspections on wind turbines and possibly other energy infrastructures, ensuring top quality with minimal defects.

• Assist Operations in effectively completing data capture across various verticals.

• Deliver comprehensive and insightful feedback to the product and engineering teams regarding Zeitview or other OEM technologies.

• Establish collection strategies for projects based on their specific requirements.

• Operate and troubleshoot remotely controlled equipment in demanding conditions.

• Keep all stakeholders informed by maintaining and publishing current status updates using effective mission tools.

• Plan and contribute to the development of operations training and workflow processes.

• Engage with local stakeholders to ascertain operational needs.

• Travel to and from remote job sites across the United States.


⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in conducting internal inspections of wind turbines and blades.

• Proficient in complex data capture methodologies.

• Holds Global Wind Organization training certifications or is willing to undertake the necessary courses.

• Comfortable with 75% domestic travel to support operations.

• Possesses a valid US passport or is willing to obtain one.

• TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) is preferred.

• Holds an FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate or is willing to acquire one post-hire.

• Capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously while adhering to strict deadlines.

• Experienced in implementing and overseeing client Scope of Work (SOW) objectives.

• Able to work collaboratively with various teams and individuals to reach a consensus.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

• Physically able to lift 50 lbs and maintain prolonged periods of sitting and standing.

• Willing to work at heights and in outdoor environments throughout the year.

• Must consent to random drug screenings and background checks.
