Blade Data Capture Specialist – External Drone Pilot

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Turkey.

📋 Description

• Perform drone inspections on wind turbine blades and other infrastructures while adhering to safety protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

• Execute image and data capture missions with exceptional accuracy and minimal errors.

• Operate, calibrate, and troubleshoot remote-controlled equipment under various field conditions.

• Achieve data capture performance targets, including completion rates, data management, image quality, safety metrics, and project communication.

• Train new Data Capture Specialists or Contractors based on their proficiency levels.

• Uphold high safety standards during all operations, ensuring compliance with industry best practices, company policies, and regulatory requirements.

• Maintain and acquire relevant product-specific certifications and qualifications, such as EASA A1/A3, STS (Standard Scenario), and GWO.

• Aid in projecting equipment requirements and organizing site logistics in collaboration with Operations Coordinators.

• Keep mission status updated using internal tools to provide visibility for stakeholders.

• Effectively communicate with local site contacts to grasp project requirements and limitations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in wind turbine inspections and sophisticated data capture methodologies.

• Possession of EASA A1/A3 Global Wind Organization training certifications or a willingness to complete the necessary courses.

• STS (Standard Scenario) certification is preferred but not mandatory.

• Capability to handle multiple tasks concurrently while adhering to strict deadlines.

• Flexibility to adapt to various working environments is crucial.

• Experience in executing and managing client Scope of Work (SOW) objectives.

• Strong ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and individuals to reach a consensus.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
