This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Formulate and execute the BioPharma sales strategy for North America.
• Establish, nurture, and enhance relationships with BioPharma clients, distributors, and strategic partners.
• Recognize and convert new business opportunities, emerging accounts, market segments, and prospects.
• Facilitate strategic customer dialogues, business reviews, collaborative development opportunities, commercial negotiations, and supply agreement discussions.
• Propel commercial execution for new product launches and innovation platforms throughout North America.
• Collaborate with Sales, Technical Development, Marketing, R&D, Quality, Supply Chain, and Customer Care on key projects.
• Disseminate market intelligence, competitive insights, customer requirements, and technical trends to internal stakeholders.
• Maintain documentation of sales activities, customer engagements, opportunities, forecasts, and project statuses in CRM systems.
• Participate in conferences and trade shows to represent Roquette and cultivate customer and distributor relationships.
• Offer coaching, guidance, and influence to North American Business Developers and cross-functional teams.
• Travel to customer or business locations as necessary, with around 50% travel depending on customer and business demands.
• Bachelor’s or University Degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Sales, Business Development, Strategic Account Management, or Technical Sales.
• Experience in the BioPharma, Pharmaceutical, Life Sciences, Ingredients, Specialty Ingredients, or Chemical sectors.
• Demonstrated success in developing sales strategies and managing strategic customer relationships.
• Proven track record in achieving sales growth and negotiating commercial or supply agreements.
• Experience collaborating with customer R&D, Process Development, Quality, Operations, Procurement, or Strategic Sourcing teams.
• Capability to address customer needs and work collaboratively across North American time zones.
• Approximately 50% travel may be necessary.
• An advanced degree or business qualification would be advantageous.
