Biology & Biophysics Research Collaborator – Part-time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Evaluate and analyze research papers in biology and biophysics for scientific integrity, innovation, and validity.

• Create and assess complex biology and biophysics problems aimed at training and evaluating advanced AI models.

• Evaluate AI-generated solutions that involve:

• - Predicting biological mechanisms

• - Designing experiments

• - Interpreting scientific literature

• - Research methodology and scientific reasoning

• Detect reasoning errors and scientific gaps that seasoned life science researchers would easily identify.

• Deliver comprehensive, evidence-based written feedback to enhance AI model efficacy.

• Work collaboratively with fellow researchers and project teams to uphold consistency and quality throughout evaluation tasks.

⛳️ Requirements

• PhD or postdoctoral training from a prestigious institution in the life sciences or a related STEM field.

• First-author or co-first-author publications in top-tier journals such as:

• - Nature

• - Science

• - Cell

• - PNAS

• - eLife

• - The New England Journal of Medicine (NEJM)

• - Nature Methods

• - Nature Medicine

• - Nature Biotechnology

• - Nature Communications

• Recognized inventor on patents, founder of a research spin-out, or Principal Investigator/Co-Investigator on funded research grants.

• Current or recent experience in an active research capacity, including roles such as:

• - PhD Candidate

• - Postdoctoral Researcher

• - Faculty Member

• - Instructor

• - Principal Scientist

• - Industry Researcher
