This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.
• Develops algorithms and software for the analysis of omics-related data sets.
• Collaborates on research projects alongside other investigators and institutions.
• Engages in formulating hypotheses and designing experiments.
• Aids in documenting methods, data, and findings.
• A Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience may fulfill the minimum educational requirement.
• Relevant experience of 2 years.
• Proficient analytical thinking skills.
• Familiarity with bioinformatics tools.
• Experience in complex data analysis.
• Knowledge of computational biology.
• Strong critical reasoning abilities.
• Experience with gene expression microarray techniques.
• Understanding of genome sequencing.
• Ability to solve problems collaboratively within a group.
• Knowledge of human genetics.
• Familiarity with model organisms.
• Up to 22 days of vacation.
