BIM VCS Drafter, Modeler

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create models for ductwork, conduit, piping, or comprehensive building systems.

• Provide expert Virtual Construction and BIM production assistance to the AEC industry.

• Support contractors in executing large-scale projects that exceed their team's capacity and represent them in the absence of an internal BIM/VDC department.

• Collaborate with new companies across various industries for your clients.

• Excel in utilizing technology, teamwork, and precision.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrate accountability, independence, and professionalism.

• Require minimal oversight and deliver work with precision at a 'completed product' level (including modeling, coordination, shop drawings, layout drawings, etc.).

• Possess advanced experience and certification in Revit software. If not certified, Cadnetics may assist you in obtaining certification and reimbursement.

• Foster and maintain positive, ongoing relationships with team members and clients.

• Confidently interact directly with clients and project teams.

• Thoroughly and accurately create, address, and resolve redlines and feedback related to projects.

• Hold an associate degree in a relevant field and/or possess a minimum of 4 years of work experience.

• Have knowledge of design and construction codes, specifications, regulations, and industry standards and best practices.

• Exhibit an intermediate understanding of reading and reviewing construction documents, building constructability requirements, and applicable code compliance.

• Demonstrate an intermediate understanding of virtual design and construction concepts and best practices.

• Have intermediate to advanced experience with specific software relevant to the virtual design and construction industry (which may include various versions of Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, Bluebeam, BIM360, LotSpec, Cyclone, Scene, Sysque, Laser Scanners, Cameras, and similar tools).

• Be proficient with the Microsoft Office suite of products.
