BIM Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Create and maintain comprehensive 2D and 3D models utilizing Revit with a focus on MEP and AutoCAD.

• Analyze mark-ups and design modifications to refresh drawings.

• Produce and sustain drawings and models throughout the tender, construction, and installation stages.

• Convert hand sketches and engineering ideas into production-ready drawings.

• Ensure adherence to QA/QC standards, BIM execution plans, and documentation criteria.

• Collaborate effectively with engineering, sales, and site installation teams.

• Generate as-built documentation in partnership with installation engineers.

• Liaise with external stakeholders.

• Assist in clash detection, drawing reviews, and problem resolution.

• Take ownership of specific project design components and guarantee timely delivery in line with project milestones.

• Ensure that outputs align with internal and client design specifications.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in a design-related environment.

• Previous experience in the construction sector is essential.

• Capability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.

• Proficient in English with strong written and verbal communication abilities.

• Expertise in Autodesk Revit, preferably with an MEP focus, and AutoCAD.

• Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

• Familiarity with BIM 360, Navisworks, or similar model coordination tools is a plus.

• Knowledge of Bluebeam Revu is advantageous.

• A good understanding of BIM workflows and drawing standards, such as ISO 19650, is desirable.

• Experience in electrical design, security systems, or infrastructure design is preferred.
