This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist MEP Engineers, BIM Managers, and Project Managers by facilitating coordination among various teams.
• Create Revit MEP documents for both small and large mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection projects.
• Model and annotate Revit MEP drawings under the guidance of an Engineer and BIM Manager.
• Utilize Revit MEP to finalize drawings and visual representations.
• Gather data and additional information for construction documentation.
• Collaborate as part of the engineering team, maintaining close interaction with the project management team.
• Help in addressing visibility, data, and graphic challenges in Revit.
• Publish, package, and utilize models on BIM 360 / ACC.
• Export CAD, NWC, and PDFs from the models.
• Prepare project progress reports for both internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage personal hours using company tools.
• Complete assigned tasks and deliverables punctually and within budget.
• Interest in engineering design principles and MEP production.
• Familiarity with modeling and annotating duct systems, as well as electrical, plumbing, and piping layouts and designs.
• Proficient in troubleshooting visibility and graphic problems in Revit.
• Expertise in using Revit MEP.
• Knowledgeable in the administration of BIM 360 / ACC projects.
• Proficient in or willing to learn the MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams).
• Exceptional organizational capabilities for file management.
• Ability to complete assignments accurately with a keen attention to detail.
• Capability to work effectively in a remote environment through strong communication, organization, self-motivation, proactiveness, and resourcefulness in a distraction-free setting.
• Ability to collaborate with engineers, designers, and drafters as part of a design team.
• Capacity to work with engineers to integrate MEP design into Revit.
• Ability to employ AI and emerging technologies to enhance workflows and optimize operational processes.
• Interest in and willingness to learn all aspects of engineering contract documents.
• Effective communication skills in both oral and written forms.
• Ability to function successfully as a team member and independently with moderate supervision.
• Capability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
• Completion of an approved Revit / Modeling Certification Process / Schooling or three years of experience in producing MEP construction documents using Revit.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%, which may include any or all 50 US states.
• Must be able to frequently remain in a stationary position, move throughout the office and other environments, and occasionally handle equipment weighing up to 25 pounds.
