BIM Specialist / VDC Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create and sustain BIM models along with relevant project documentation during various project phases.

• Provide assistance to Architects and technical personnel with plans, sections, elevations, details, and synchronized construction documentation.

• Generate and manage design and construction drawings utilizing Autodesk Revit.

• Work alongside multidisciplinary teams to guarantee model precision and project coordination.

• Aid in clash detection and model coordination among Architectural, Structural, and MEP systems.

• Contribute to the development, upkeep, and organization of BIM content, templates, and standards.

• Engage in Digital Delivery and initiatives aimed at improving the BIM process.

• Collaborate with project teams to meet timelines, deliverables, and project specifications.

⛳️ Requirements

• Solid understanding of architectural systems, construction documentation, and BIM workflows.

• Capability to develop coordinated BIM models and detailed construction information.

• Proficiency in managing multiple projects and priorities at the same time.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

• Highly organized and detail-focused with a strong dedication to quality.

• Team-oriented approach with the adaptability to support diverse project and client requirements.

• Experience using Bluebeam or Adobe Acrobat PDF workflows.

• Familiarity with Autodesk Forma (ACC) and/or BIM 360 environments.

• Technical diploma or degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, Engineering, Construction, or a related discipline.

• At least 2 years of experience in architectural or architectural engineering drafting/modeling.

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience using Autodesk Revit.

• Preferred experience with Dynamo or other BIM automation tools.

• Preferred experience in model coordination and clash detection.

• Familiarity with BIM standards, content management, and digital delivery processes is preferred.
